What is llms.txt?
A convention (llmstxt.org) for a plain markdown file at /llms.txt that tells AI agents what a site is about and which pages matter, the way robots.txt talks to crawlers and sitemap.xml lists pages.
Where do I put it?
At the root of your domain, next to robots.txt: https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt, served as plain text. On most hosts that means dropping the file into the public folder.
Does it invent anything?
No. The file is written only from what your pages say; every link is one we actually read. Anything the pages do not state is left out rather than guessed.
Who keeps it up to date?
You, today.
