What does the check actually do?
It reads your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap, writes five realistic buyer questions for your category, asks the answer engines that are connected (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and records whether their answers cite or name your site, and who they cite instead.
Why does it matter?
More buyers start with a question to an AI assistant than with a keyword. If the assistant recommends three competitors and not you, that is a lead you never see. The readiness checks are the site-side signals engines rely on to trust and quote a page.
Is it really free? What happens with my data?
Yes. Results are cached for a week so repeated checks cost nothing. We store the result and a hash of your network address for rate limiting. Your email is only stored if you ask for the report, with your consent, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
