Your twelve-month target

Pick one number and where it should be in twelve months. The studio works back from it, checks in every month and tells you when the pace says the target needs a second look.

Set your target

  1. Step 1

    Pick the number that matters

Paying customers, revenue a month, sign-ups, enquiries, subscribers, followers or visits — and where it is today. Zero is an honest answer too. With Google Analytics connected, Fill it from Google Analytics offers its last 30 days.

  2. Step 2

    Say where it should be

The number at point B (the studio suggests three times today), by when, and what one customer brings. Why now? is optional.

  3. Step 3

    Save the target

It shows on Results → Goal and on Today. You can set it during the set-up, or later here.

How it tracks the pace

  • Tiles show where you are now, the pace needed a month, the pace so far and how much of the way is behind you.
  • The road back, from B to A shows what each month needs; Plan against fact draws the plan beside what happened.
  • About once a month, a card in To approve asks how the month ended. With Google Analytics connected, visits and shop revenue are filled in for you.
  • Ninety days in, it asks whether the target is still right. Sooner, if the pace is far behind or far ahead.

Change it, or add another

Refine the target changes the number or the date; the page keeps how it changed. Add another target tracks a second number beside the first — followers next to customers, say.
