Connecting your accounts
Connect your blog, your social accounts, Google, Reddit, Telegram and the AI assistants you use, so approved work goes out by itself and your numbers come in.
Where to find it
Profile settings → Connections, in six groups: Your website, Social accounts, Reddit, Google, AI assistants and Notifications. Each card says Connected, Not connected, Needs attention or Almost done. Only the profile's owner connects and changes them.
What each one does
| Connection | What it unlocks | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Approved articles publish, with their cover | Site address, username, an application password |
| Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, Wix | The same, to that platform's blog | An API key or token from the platform; Wix does not take covers |
| GitHub | Articles and copy fixes arrive as pull requests | Connect GitHub, then the repository, branch and folders |
| Social accounts | Approved posts go out at their time | Sign in on each network: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, YouTube, a Facebook page, Bluesky, X, a LinkedIn page |
| The community manager can search threads | Your private feed link from Reddit's settings; replies are always pasted by you | |
| Search Console and Analytics numbers, the SEO specialist's data, monthly check-ins | Connect Google, then choose the site and the property | |
| AI assistants | Work with the studio from Claude or ChatGPT | See Use the studio from Claude or ChatGPT |
| Telegram | Your daily rundown and alerts, and approved posts to your channel | Connect, then a code to the bot |
One blog per profile
Connecting another blog replaces the first. WordPress publishes as a draft unless you choose Publish immediately. For WordPress you need an administrator or editor account with application passwords switched on — some security plugins turn them off, and the card says so when that happens.
Your keys are safe
- Passwords, keys and tokens are stored encrypted and never shown back.
- Google is connected read-only. Its data is used only for your workspace — never for advertising, never sold.
- Disconnect deletes the token at once; numbers already brought in stay.
Questions
Asked about this
Do I need a blog to use the studio?
No. Download each article and publish it yourself.
Can a team member connect accounts?
No. Members see the connections; only the owner connects, changes or removes them.
A sync failed
The card shows Reconnect Google (or the network's own reconnect). Sign in again; your site and property come back by themselves.
