Core channels get most of the hours. Support channels get a little. The rest can wait until the core ones work.

ChannelRoleWhy
InstagramCoreCouples check a vendor's real work here before they write: 57% of couples use Instagram for inspiration (Zola, Dec 2024) and 87% made a planning choice from something seen on social media (Zola 2026). It confirms a recommendation more than it finds strangers: 19% of Millennials and 8% of Gen Z call it their most essential platform (Zola 2026). One rule bites planners and venues, who live on other vendors' photos: if most recent posts are not original, the account may not be recommended to non-followers (Instagram for Creators, 2026).
PinterestCorePinterest is where couples collect looks before they contact anyone: 77% use it for inspiration, and 51% of Gen Z and 45% of Millennials still point to their Pinterest boards as the most essential planning tool (Zola 2026); The Knot's 2026 study of 10,474 couples names it the most-used inspiration platform. Pinterest says its feed is personal, not chronological, and Pins do not expire on a fixed schedule (Pinterest Business, 2026). It lists weddings as a life moment and says to launch about two months before a peak (Pinterest, 2026 guide).
Google Business ProfileCoreA second front door: 97% of consumers read local reviews, Google is the top review source at 71%, 47% will not use a business with fewer than 20 reviews and 74% look for reviews from the last three months (BrightLocal 2026). Google says local results rest on relevance, distance and prominence, that complete info helps a profile show, and that more reviews and positive ratings help (Google Business Profile Help). Local SEO experts put primary category and distance first (Whitespark 2026; guides say).
TikTokSupportHalf of couples get wedding inspiration from TikTok, 25% call it their most invaluable resource and 30% of Gen Z (Zola 2026); Gen Z is 41% of surveyed couples (Knot 2026). TikTok says follower count is not a direct factor in For You (TikTok Newsroom, 2020), so a small account can be seen. Our read: couples browse here more than they book here, so recut your Reels instead of making new work.
RedditSupport9% of couples used Reddit for inspiration in 2026, up from 3% (Zola 2026). r/weddingplanning has about 1.6M members and r/wedding about 440K (Hive Index, Oct 2026); couples ask for advice, post budget recaps and ask about vendors and venues there. Answer questions; do not advertise.
Email newsletterSupportCouples reach out to seven vendors on average and one in two expect a reply within 24 hours, so the follow-up is where inquiries are won. WeddingPro recommends follow-ups on days 1, 3, 9, 14, 20, 26 and 30 and says couples are nearly 40% more likely to respond to a consistent cadence (WeddingPro 2026, platform data). With an 18-month average engagement (Zola 2026), old inquiries are worth a note when dates open up. Read this as an inquiry sequence plus a short note to past inquiries and vendor partners, not a mass newsletter.
YouTubeSkipNo couple survey names YouTube as a source for wedding inspiration or vendors: Zola 2026 names Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Instagram and creators, and The Knot 2026 names Pinterest. Host a venue tour film there only to embed it on your website.
XSkipNo couple survey names X as a place couples plan weddings or find vendors (Zola 2026; Knot 2026).
LinkedInSkipCouples do not plan weddings on LinkedIn. It matters only if the business also sells corporate events; 76% of B2B marketers rate it effective for thought leadership (CMI 2026).
FacebookSkipFacebook is not named as a wedding inspiration source in Zola 2026 or Knot 2026. Keep the page correct (name, hours, link): 34% of consumers write reviews there (BrightLocal 2026). Cross-post only if it costs no time.

Who buys and how they choose

Engaged couples, average age 32 (Knot 2025); Gen Z is 41% of surveyed couples (Knot 2026). They spend about $34,000 on 117 guests (Knot 2026; Zola 2026 says $36,000 and 145 guests) and hire 13 to 14 vendors (Knot 2026; WeddingPro 2026). They want a team they trust, a price they can compare and help to stay inside the budget: about half rely on vendor guidance for that (Knot 2025), and 44% did not feel prepared to hire vendors (Zola 2025).

Trigger: the engagement. December is the top engagement month at 13%, May and June 11% each (Zola 2025); nearly 40% of proposals fall between Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day (Knot 2017 study). Some start early: 19% enter full planning before they are engaged, 10% toured a venue before the proposal and 7% booked one (Zola 2026). Engagement averages 18 months (Zola 2026) and half of couples are engaged 12 to 18 months (Zola 2025). The venue comes first for 82% and its preferred list often becomes the shortlist (Knot Worldwide, May 2026, citing its 2025 study; not checked at the study). Couples reach out to seven vendors on average and hire 13 to 14 (WeddingPro 2026; Knot 2026). One in two expect a reply within 24 hours (WeddingPro 2026). Price decides who is contacted: 77% (WeddingPro 2026); 37% contacted more vendors than planned to fit the budget (Knot 2026). A planner is a small splurge: 5% would most willingly splurge on one, against 47% on a venue (Zola 2025). Personality is a top factor for 50% choosing a planner, and 52% cite responsiveness as key to trust (Knot 2026).

Where buyers find businesses like this

  • Pinterest boards and search — 77% of couples use Pinterest for inspiration (Zola 2026); the most-used inspiration platform in The Knot's study of 10,474 couples (Knot 2026)
  • TikTok — Half of couples get wedding inspiration from TikTok; 25% call it their most invaluable resource, up from 15% in 2025 (Zola 2026)
  • Instagram, as the portfolio check and search — 57% of couples use Instagram for inspiration (Zola, Dec 2024); 87% made a planning choice based on something seen on social media (Zola 2026)
  • Wedding marketplaces: The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola — The Knot Worldwide says its platforms delivered 9 million high-intent leads to pros in 2024 and reach 15M+ monthly visitors (WeddingPro 2026; company claims, no independent share found)
  • The venue's preferred-vendor list and other vendors' referrals — 82% of couples secure the venue first and a preferred list often follows (Knot Worldwide, May 2026, citing its 2025 study; not checked at the study). 31% get inspiration from their vendors (Zola 2025)
  • Google Search and Maps, with reviews — 97% of consumers read local reviews and Google is the top review source at 71% (BrightLocal 2026); 65% of couples on The Knot and WeddingWire look at reviews (WeddingPro 2026)
  • AI assistants — 54% of couples use AI in some way to plan (Zola 2026); 36% of engaged couples (Knot 2026); neither says how many use it to find vendors. Guides say AI draws on websites, reviews, marketplaces, listings, blogs, media mentions, podcasts and social profiles (WeddingPro, Sep 2026)
  • Editorial vendor guides and best-of lists — Zola publishes city lists such as 'The 14 Best Wedding Venues in Chicago' (Zola 2026); Green Wedding Shoes runs a directory with planners, venues and videographers (GWS 2026). Guides say curated best-of lists are the top factor for AI-search visibility (Whitespark 2026 expert survey)

The first 90 days

  1. Step 1

Week 1. Fix the three places couples look: a Google Business Profile with the real-world name and one exact primary category (venues show the address, planners hide it), a website offer page with a price range, and a 24-hour reply habit (one in two couples expect one, WeddingPro 2026).

  2. Step 2

Week 1. Write the first reply and the 7-touch follow-up for days 1, 3, 9, 14, 20, 26 and 30: details from the inquiry, pricing context, an open question and a next step such as a call or tour (WeddingPro 2026).

  3. Step 3

Weeks 1 to 3. Build the portfolio: 30 to 100 images, about five from each of the last two or three weddings, showing range (spaces, seasons, sizes), not too many photos of you with the couple. Get a written licence and credit from every photographer (The Knot editors via WeddingPro).

  4. Step 4

Weeks 2 to 4. Ask your last 20 couples for a Google review and a marketplace review with open questions and no incentive. Aim for 20+ Google reviews (BrightLocal 2026) and at least 5 from the last two years on The Knot or WeddingWire (The Knot 2025 data via WeddingPro).

  5. Step 5

Month 2. Start the Instagram rhythm: 3 posts a week, Stories on tour and wedding days, a Collab sneak peek within 48 hours of every wedding. Put city and role in the name field and bio (Mosseri, Aug 2021).

  6. Step 6

Month 2. Pinterest: 6 to 8 boards named by style, season and place; pin each real-wedding page and guide; publish autumn Pins in July or August (Pinterest, 2026).

  7. Step 7

Months 2 to 3. Venues: fixed weekly tour windows and one open house a month with pricing; fill in a tour sheet the day before. Planners: publish 'what to ask before you sign' and a price guide (44% of couples did not feel prepared to hire vendors; Zola 2025).

  8. Step 8

Month 3. Get featured: submit one real wedding with the photographer to Style Me Pretty (80 to 150 images, mostly vertical, every credit, unpublished) and host one styled shoot with 4 to 6 vendors under written agreements.

  9. Step 9

Month 3. Join one association chapter (NACE, WIPA or ILEA), set referral swaps with three vendors and ask the venue manager about the preferred-vendor list. Every month: count inquiries by source and the cost of each paid listing per booked wedding.

Rhythm: 3 feed posts a week (1 carousel, 1 to 2 Reels), Stories on tour and wedding days, one Collab within 48 hours of every wedding. The average account posts about 20 times a month: 8 Reels, 5 carousels, 7 images (Socialinsider 2026, 2025 data).

Caption line 1: venue, city, season. — Carousels average the highest engagement (0.55%; Reels 0.52%, images 0.37%) and the most saves (Socialinsider 2026, 2025 data); sends, which a shared carousel earns, are a top-three signal for reaching new people (Mosseri, Jan 2025).

Tour-day Stories and Highlights10%Stories on tour days: parking to ceremony spot, the room laid for dinner, the price card. Highlights named Tours, Pricing, Seasons. What to post about

  • Real weddings with the whole team credited
  • What is included and what it costs
  • The day itself: timelines, behind the scenes, how a problem was fixed
  • The place through the seasons (venues)
  • Questions couples do not know to ask
  • Multi-day weddings: nearly 1 in 3 span three days or more (Knot 2027 trends, Sep 2026)

Openings that work

  • The question: 'What does a venue fee include? 5 lines to check before you sign.'
  • The reveal: 'Same room, three weddings.' Open on the most different pair.
  • The number: 'What a [guest count]-guest wedding at [venue] costs, line by line.' Your own figures only.
  • The moment: '[Time of day] at [venue]: the room before the guests arrive.'
  • The order: 'Why couples book the venue first, and what to book second.'

How people find you here: Search matches the words in username, name field, bio, captions, hashtags and places; put keywords in the caption, not the comments, and a city in the bio (Mosseri, Aug 2021). Top-three ranking signals: watch time, likes, sends; sends matter slightly more for reaching new people (Mosseri, Jan 2025). Collab posts reach every accepted co-author's audience (Instagram, June 2024). Reels are 50% of time on Instagram (Instagram for Creators, 2026). Share other vendors' work to Stories, not the feed: crediting the creator does not make a repost original (Instagram for Creators, 2026).

How a viewer becomes a client: Name field: '[Name] | Wedding planner, [city]'. Bio: who it is for, region, 'weddings from $X'. Link: an inquiry form asking date, guest count, budget range, venue. Pinned post: price ranges. Reply to DMs within 24 hours (one in two couples expect it, WeddingPro 2026; 52% say responsiveness is key to trust, Knot 2026). Give a range in the first reply: 77% choose whom to contact on price (WeddingPro 2026). Follow up on days 1, 3, 9, 14, 20, 26, 30.

Benchmarks: Instagram average engagement was 0.48% in 2025: Reels 0.52%, carousels 0.55%, images 0.37%; carousels earn the most saves, Reels the most comments (Socialinsider 2026, 2025 data).

Avoid on Instagram

  • Never repost a photographer's images to the feed as your own content: a mostly unoriginal account can lose reach to non-followers (Instagram for Creators, 2026) and the photographer owns the copyright unless a signed agreement says otherwise (US Copyright Office). Use a Collab post or a Story share, with a written licence.
  • Never present a styled shoot as a real couple's wedding or a client review; label it and name every vendor (our read; the FTC says endorsements must not show an experience that did not happen).
  • Never post gifted or swapped work without a clear 'Gifted by' or 'Ad' that shows without tapping 'more'; a tag is not a disclosure (FTC).
  • Never answer 'DM for price' alone: 77% of couples choose whom to contact on price (WeddingPro 2026).
  • Never leave a vendor out of the credits; Style Me Pretty cannot add a credit after submission (SMP 2026).
  • Never publish a couple's wedding before they have seen it and said yes; never show AI-made images as your work (our read; WeddingPro, Nov 2025).

Pinterest · core

Pinterest is where couples collect looks before they contact anyone: 77% use it for inspiration, and 51% of Gen Z and 45% of Millennials still point to their Pinterest boards as the most essential planning tool (Zola 2026); The Knot's 2026 study of 10,474 couples names it the most-used inspiration platform. Pinterest says its feed is personal, not chronological, and Pins do not expire on a fixed schedule (Pinterest Business, 2026). Venue spaces by season25%One Pin per space and season, capacity in the description, linked to the venue page with the price range and inquiry form. — Romantic outdoor garden venues are the number one choice for the second year, then rustic farms, barns and ranches (Zola 2026).

  • Real weddings by venue and season
  • Planning timelines and checklists
  • Budget and what is included
  • Multi-day weekend ideas: welcome party, day-after brunch

Openings that work

How people find you here: Pinterest surfaces Pins through search and recommendations, and its visual search helps people who cannot name what they want (Pinterest Business, 2026). The pages read give no keyword rules; our read: use the words a couple would type (style + season + place) in the Pin title, description and board name, and send each Pin to its own page.

How a viewer becomes a client: Pin to real-wedding or venue page to price range, season availability and inquiry form (date, guest count, budget). 87% of couples made a planning choice based on something seen on social media (Zola 2026).

Benchmarks: Pinterest says 600 million people use it monthly and 8 in 10 arrive to search for at least one meaningful moment a year (Pinterest, 2026 guide). No wedding-vendor benchmark found.

Avoid on Pinterest

  • Never pin a photographer's images without a written licence; the photographer is the copyright owner by default (US Copyright Office).
  • Never send a Pin to the homepage; send it to the page that answers it (our read).
  • Never pin AI-made wedding scenes as your work (WeddingPro, Nov 2025: they set unrealistic expectations).

Complete info and a booking path20%Real-world name, one exact primary category, hours, service area or address, the offer page, a tour or inquiry link. — Businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local results (Google Business Profile Help).

What to post about

  • Reviews that name specifics: the date, the venue, what went wrong and how it was fixed
  • Photos of real spaces and real weddings
  • Accurate hours, area and tour link

How people find you here: 'wedding venue [city]' and 'wedding planner near me' show a map pack ranked on relevance, distance and prominence (Google). Whitespark's 2026 expert survey puts primary category, distance, business-title keywords, ratings and review count at the top of the map pack, and, for AI search, curated best-of lists, a dedicated page for each service and industry-site prominence (guides say). Google says no special optimisation is needed for AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond helpful content; keep Business Profile info current (Google Search Central, Dec 2025).

How a viewer becomes a client: Calls, directions, website clicks. Venues: a tour booking link. Planners: an inquiry form (date, guest count, budget). Couples read replies to reviews (Google).

Benchmarks: BrightLocal 2026: 97% read local reviews; 47% need 20+ reviews; 74% want reviews from the last three months; 28% always write one if asked (16% in 2025); 78% were asked for a review in the last 12 months.

Avoid on Google Business Profile

  • Never add keywords or taglines to the business name; Google requires the real-world name and can suspend the profile (Google guidelines).
  • Never show a home address for a planner who meets clients elsewhere: service-area businesses hide the address; never use a virtual office (Google guidelines).
  • Never offer a discount, gift or upgrade for a review, and never ask only happy couples (Google Maps policy).
  • Never swap reviews with partner vendors: Google lists professional affiliations as a conflict of interest (Google policy).
  • Never write reviews for yourself or have staff do it: insider reviews without disclosure are deceptive under the FTC rule (FTC).

How a viewer becomes a client: A reply, a call or a tour booked. Every email ends with one next step.

Benchmarks: MailerLite 2025 data (Dec 2024 to Nov 2025): entertainment and events 46% opens, 1.28% clicks, 0.24% unsubscribes; all-industry median 43.46% opens, 2.09% clicks. Watch replies, not opens.

Avoid on Email newsletter

  • Never send a generic blast to a couple who asked a specific question (WeddingPro 2026).
  • Never paste an AI-written email without reading it (WeddingPro, Nov 2025).
  • Never put a couple's personal or payment details into an insecure AI tool (WeddingPro, Nov 2025).

Channels to leave for later

  • YouTube — No couple survey names YouTube as a source for wedding inspiration or vendors: Zola 2026 names Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Instagram and creators, and The Knot 2026 names Pinterest. Host a venue tour film there only to embed it on your website.
  • X — No couple survey names X as a place couples plan weddings or find vendors (Zola 2026; Knot 2026).
  • LinkedIn — Couples do not plan weddings on LinkedIn. It matters only if the business also sells corporate events; 76% of B2B marketers rate it effective for thought leadership (CMI 2026).
  • Facebook — Facebook is not named as a wedding inspiration source in Zola 2026 or Knot 2026. Keep the page correct (name, hours, link): 34% of consumers write reviews there (BrightLocal 2026). Cross-post only if it costs no time.

  • Quora — Zola 2026 lists Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Instagram and creators as couples' inspiration sources.

Support channel. Couples gather ideas on Pinterest, TikTok and Instagram, use the marketplaces and read Google reviews (figures above), so the website's job is to answer once they arrive and to be found for local and specific searches. Whitespark's 2026 expert survey puts a dedicated page for each service and local relevance first for local organic results (guides say). Google says there are no extra requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond helpful, people-first content (Google Search Central, Dec 2025). Our read: marketplaces and publishers hold the head terms (Zola publishes 'The 14 Best Wedding Venues in [city]' lists), so a small business wins on its own name, its place and specific long questions. The queries below are typical phrasings;

ArticleSearches likeHow the winners are built
Offer page: one page per venue space or planning package“wedding venues in [town]”, “[town] wedding planner”, “[venue name] wedding cost”, “full service wedding planner [city]”One page per offer, not one for everything. What is included, a price range or 'from' price and what moves it, capacity, season and date availability, 10+ real photos with credits, FAQ, map, and an inquiry form asking date, guests, budget.
Real wedding at [venue], every vendor credited“[venue name] wedding photos”, “[town] wedding inspiration”, “[season] wedding at [venue type]”Title: venue + season + style. 8 to 15 captioned photos, the story in 150 to 250 words, a credits list linking every vendor, one line on what the planner or venue handled. Get the photographer's written licence first. Credited vendors tend to share the page, which brings links from industry sites that Whitespark 2026 ranks highly (guides say).
Cost and what is included guide“how much does a wedding planner cost”, “wedding venue cost [region]”, “day-of coordinator vs wedding planner”, “what does a wedding venue fee include”Open with a range and what moves it: guest count, day of week, season, hours, services. Three sample packages with what is in and out, and one worked example. Date it and update it yearly. Guides say three packages (too little, just right, too much) steer couples to the middle one (WeddingPro, Jun 2026). 77% of couples say price is the most important factor in whom to contact (WeddingPro 2026).
Planning timeline and checklist“wedding planning timeline 12 months”, “when to book a wedding venue”, “wedding checklist [region]”, “how far in advance to hire a wedding planner”Month by month for the 12 to 18 months most couples are engaged (Zola 2025), with local specifics: permits, peak dates, which vendors book out first. A one-page download. Link to the offer page where a planner or venue is needed.
Destination or region guide“[destination] wedding legal requirements”, “best time of year for a wedding in [place]”, “[destination] wedding planner”, “3-day wedding itinerary [place]”For destination planners and venues in places people travel to. Legal steps linked to the official government page, a season and weather table, vendor logistics, a sample welcome-dinner, ceremony and brunch weekend. Nearly 1 in 3 weddings span three days or more (Knot 2027 trends, Sep 2026); 32% of surveyed couples marrying in 2025 chose a destination wedding against 67% local (Zola 2025; the page does not define the term).
Venue type comparison and rain plan“garden wedding venue vs barn”, “indoor vs outdoor wedding venue”, “wedding venue types”, “rain plan for outdoor wedding”A side-by-side table of the venue types you actually offer, with costs, capacity and the rain plan. Outdoor garden venues are the top choice for the second year, followed by rustic farms, barns and ranches (Zola 2026).

When searches peak: Couples plan 12 to 18 months out (Zola 2025). October is the most popular wedding month at 17% and September 20 and October 25 were expected to be the most popular 2025 dates (Knot 2025). Publish season guides about two months before a peak (Pinterest, 2026): autumn pieces in July and August, engagement-season 'where to start' pieces in October and November. Engagement season runs Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day with nearly 40% of proposals (Knot 2017 study); December is the top month at 13% (Zola 2025).

Local search: Google Business Profile: a venue shows its address; a planner with no public premises is a service-area business and must hide it (Google guidelines). One exact primary category, the top map-pack factor in Whitespark's 2026 survey (guides say). Reviews: 20+ before couples consider you (47% will not use a business with fewer than 20; BrightLocal 2026), recent (74% want the last three months) and steady, not in bursts (Whitespark 2026). On the marketplaces, 5 or more reviews from the last two years help (The Knot 2025 data via WeddingPro). Keep name, address, phone and one-line description identical everywhere: guides say AI looks for the same description across sources (WeddingPro, Sep 2026).

  • Zola's city lists of best venues (Zola 2026)
  • Wedding industry associations: NACE, WIPA and ILEA chapters (WeddingPro, 2021)
  • Local press, tourism boards and chambers of commerce: Whitespark 2026 counts newspaper articles, blogs, government sites and industry associations among the strongest citations for AI-search visibility (guides say)

Partners who share your audience

  • Venue managers and planners hold each other's shortlists: 82% of couples secure the venue first and its preferred list often becomes their shortlist (Knot Worldwide, May 2026; not checked at the study). Send the manager a gallery and a one-page timeline.
  • Photographers and videographers: a Collab post within 48 hours (Instagram, June 2024) and a written licence, since they own the copyright by default (US Copyright Office). 40% of couples planning social-first content ask them to capture it (Zola 2026).
  • Florists, rentals, stationers, hair and makeup, caterers: styled-shoot swaps only under a written agreement on usage and credits, with disclosure of free goods (FTC).
  • Publications: Style Me Pretty needs a photography credit and prefers unpublished work (SMP 2026); our read: let the photographer submit and supply the full vendor list.
  • Industry associations: NACE, WIPA, ILEA chapters (WeddingPro, 2021). Other planners and venues: refer the inquiries you cannot take (WeddingPro, July 2021).
  • Past couples: ask them to tag you; guides say tags create a two-way connection (WeddingPro, July 2021).

Rules that apply

  • US, FTC Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule (in force since 21 Oct 2024): no fake or AI-made reviews, no buying reviews that must be positive, clear disclosure for reviews by staff, relatives or others with a material tie, no groundless legal threats to remove a review. Asking only happy customers could still break the FTC Act. Source: FTC Q&A on the rule.
  • Global, Google Maps contributed content policy: no payment, discount or free goods or services for a review; no review gating; no staff quotas; no reviews from people with professional, contractual or personal ties, so no review swaps between partner vendors. Stricter than the FTC rule, so follow Google's. Source: Google Maps policy.
  • US, FTC Endorsement Guides: free or discounted services, gifts and perks given in the expectation of promotion are a material connection. A styled shoot with swapped work needs a clear 'Gifted by' or 'Ad' near the claim, visible without tapping 'more' on Instagram; a tag alone does not disclose; in video it belongs in the video. Source: FTC Q&A.
  • US, copyright: the person who made the photo or film is its author and owner unless it is made for hire or the rights are assigned by contract. Get a written licence before using a vendor's images and credit them. Source: US Copyright Office.
  • Global, Google Business Profile guidelines: real-world business name only; service-area businesses such as planners with no public premises hide the address; no virtual offices; violations can suspend the profile. Source: Google Business Profile Help.
  • Industry rule, Style Me Pretty: a photography credit is needed for publication, a vendor not credited at submission cannot be added later, and unpublished work is preferred for front-page features. Source: SMP submissions page.
  • Guides say (WeddingPro, Nov 2025): do not enter couples' personal details, payment details or addresses into insecure AI tools, get the couple's consent before using AI for communications, photos or planning, and do not present AI images as real work.

What to measure

  • First reply time: under 24 hours (one in two couples expect it, WeddingPro 2026; 52% say responsiveness is key to trust, Knot 2026).
  • Inquiries by source (marketplace, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, venue or vendor referral, AI): no public benchmark found; compare with your own last season.
  • Funnel by stage: inquiry, first two-way conversation, consultation or tour booked, proposal, contract, deposit. WeddingPro's audit says to review inquiry volume weekly and conversion monthly and gives no benchmarks (WeddingPro, Aug 2026).
  • Google reviews: 20+, new ones each month, newest within three months (BrightLocal 2026). Marketplace reviews: at least 5 from the last two years (The Knot 2025 data via WeddingPro).
  • Instagram: engagement near 0.5% per follower is average (0.48% in 2025; Reels 0.52%, carousels 0.55%; Socialinsider 2026). Watch saves and sends more than likes: watch time, likes and sends are the top three signals (Mosseri, Jan 2025).
  • Pinterest: outbound clicks to the inquiry page and saves of guide Pins; no wedding benchmark found.
  • Email follow-up: replies per sequence, not opens; MailerLite's 2025 averages for events senders are 46% opens and 1.28% clicks.
  • Marketing cost per booked wedding by channel (listing fees divided by weddings booked), reviewed each quarter.
